📖 Adam Lindsay Gordon
Poet and horseman Adam Lindsay Gordon lived at Dingley Dell near Port MacDonnell from 1864 to 1867. During those years his published work expanded, and the cottage became an enduring physical connection between the writer and the district. The modest cottage preserves the domestic setting of those years. The surrounding conservation park retains interpretation of his life and work. Gordon’s association with the Grant district rests on residence during an important period of writing, alongside his wider reputation for horsemanship and public life.
